sitting right under the addison brown line stop,
cork lounge has been lakeview's neighborhood bar since as
early as the 1940's. although this bar has been newly
remodeled it sill has a good grasp on the old school feel
with a pool table, dart boards, cheap drinks, and a steady
staff.
tony and sofija ristov took ownership of the bar in the 80's
to see it carried to what it is now. the cork has been
completely remodeled due to cta construction and now
sports a 33 foot bar and plenty of space. we now attempt
to show a strong support for chicago by having many
local beers and allowing local artists to display their
work on the walls. from time to tim, there may even be
some live music in thie joint
